During
2009 I went back to school and studied at Lane Community College
with Satoko Motouji. I took three watercolor classes from her,
and here I show some of my favorite pieces from the year. For
more of the story and additional images go to my Out
and About page.
In
2008 I had a commission from a friend in Texas. He used to live
in New Zealand and wanted a painting to remind him of his time
there. He was especially found of a native bird called the Pukeko
and the New Zealand Silver Fern fiddleheads. So that is what is
behind "Pukeko Paradise." I also continued to work on some
more flower and tropical plant imagery.
Note:
All of my new watercolors are painted on Arches Coldpress 140#
paper unless otherwise noted. All
works are copyright protected.
